​I have raised 4 children in this little town of Robbinsville and it never seizes to amaze me how many students in my kids' senior class I don't know! So photographing Red Carpet lets me see them at their best. 

The first year of Red Carpet (2009) at Robbinsville High School was MC'd by  my very own daughter Caitlin. There were only 30 people in attendance and that included the students.  The people were all her friends and mine, there to support us. It was hard to start something new.

In 2010, there was about twice as many  students as 2009 and by 2011 it finally took root.  In  2012 it became a tradition! It would be my last year as chair and I felt ready to pass it on!

I still  photographing it and enjoy watching the students strut down the Red Carpet….so beautiful, so happy and so young! I hope my images find their way into a time capsule or something like that and that they get taken out someday at a high school reunion!
